Stark Future Unveil 3.3KWH Portable Charger

Stark Future Unveils a 3.3kWh “Backpack” Charger & And It’s a Big Deal

We’d all heard the rumours for a while about what Stark had up their sleeve, but now it’s official: Stark Future have unveiled a new 3.3KWh charger, and yes… they claim it’s compact enough to fit in your backpack.

For anyone riding an electric dirt bike, that’s a pretty huge step forward. One of the biggest talking points around electric motorcycles isn’t the power or the performance anymore, Stark have already proved that with the VARG time and time again, it’s the practicality. Riders want to know how far they can go, how easy it is to charge, and whether they can get through a full day of riding without being tied to a plug socket.

This new charger might just be Stark’s answer to everyone's issues with electric.

Why is this such a big deal?

A portable, high-output charger completely changes the conversation around electric off-road bikes. Instead of planning your day around the nearest power point or hauling bulky charging setups to the track, you could theoretically throw this little unit in your backpack and top up your battery between sessions or whilst enjoying a coffee.

For racers, that means quicker turnarounds.
For trail riders, that means more seat time.
And for anyone still on the fence about going electric, this is exactly the kind of tech that makes things feel “real world ready.”

Features We Know About (So Far)

We are yet to actually get our hands on one of these chargers, they are due in stock with us this side of Christmas along with the all new 'VARG SM

  • 3.3kWh output: Same output as the original charger stand, but a fraction of the size

  • Compact, lightweight design: Small enough & lightweight enough so you can take it with you on the go

  • Track-friendly, rider-friendly format: built for mobility, not garage charging

If the real-world size and performance match Stark’s marketing claims, this could become the new must-have accessory for VARG owners.

What This Means for the Future of Electric MX

The electric MX scene is moving fast, and this charger is another sign that Stark aren’t slowing down. Lightweight charging tech is one of the missing pieces of the puzzle, and companies that solve it early will shape the future of off-road riding.
