Powered by a 799cc DOHC, 8-valve parallel-twin producing 69.5 kW (approximately 95 hp) at 9,000 rpm and 79–80 Nm (58–59 lb-ft) at 7,500 rpm. The engine uses an 88 × 65.7 mm bore and stroke, 13:1 compression ratio and Bosch EFI, with a 75-degree crankshaft and 6-speed transmission. The 2026 Pro adds ride-by-wire throttle control and a bidirectional quickshifter, giving it a more sophisticated and road-friendly power delivery.
SUSPENSION
Fully Adjustable KYB Long-Travel Suspension
The 800X Pro is equipped with 48mm KYB inverted forks and a KYB rear monoshock, both offering 240 mm (9.4 in) of travel. Preload and damping are adjustable front and rear, while the rear shock uses an external reservoir on some market specifications. With 275 mm (10.8 in) of ground clearance, the Pro has enough suspension and clearance to tackle serious off-road terrain without sacrificing high-speed road stability.
CHASSIS & WEIGHT
Lightweight Adventure Chassis
The 800X Pro is exceptionally light for a 95-hp 800cc adventure twin. Its 275 mm (10.8 in) of ground clearance, aluminum spoke wheels and 21/18-inch wheel combination give it serious off-road capability, while the centrally positioned 19–20 litre fuel tank helps keep the centre of gravity low and handling consistent as fuel is burned.
RIDER MODES & ELECTRONICS
Adventure-Ready Rider Electronics
The 2026 800X Pro brings considerably more electronics than the Rally, including Sport, Rain, Eco, Off-Road and customizable riding modes, plus traction control and three-stage switchable ABS. It also features cruise control, ride-by-wire throttle, a bidirectional quickshifter, steering damper and a 7-inch TFT display. The combination gives the Pro a broader operating range, from motorway touring to loose-surface riding,without taking away its off-road focus.
